Plan templates arrange the page

A plan layout controls the map frame, text, notes, company artwork, and optional supporting elements such as a scale bar or legend. Set up the page in PDF layout, then use Templates to save it for future sites.

When you change a layout based on a saved template, the update indicator helps you decide whether to update that reusable layout. Review the result before applying the same style elsewhere.

Automatic fields keep site details connected

Use automatic fields for details such as the site name and address instead of retyping them on every page. Edit surrounding text and place the field where it belongs in the sentence or text block.

Check the field preview with the current project before publishing. An empty client detail can leave a gap even when the template itself is correct.

Packages bring several pages together

A package can combine a cover, one or more site plans, supporting pages, and an equipment summary. Change page order, remove an extra page, and review the complete document before export.

Use shared branding controls for a logo, footer, font, and color across the package. Save a package template when that arrangement should be available for another site, and choose a default if you want it used as your starting point.

Enter through PDF layout → Options → Package. The floating Site controls button opens site fields, equipment pricing, and page layout over the package sheets. Choose or import a template there. Use Plan PDF to return to the single sheet.

Save installation and recurring equipment rates

Open Site controls → Equipment & pricing and add equipment from the plan or enter a custom item. Each equipment symbol counts as one unit, including a multi-camera unit. Review quantities before using the totals.

Enter installation prices per unit as a one-time charge. Recurring prices are stored separately for weekly and monthly billing; switching the period does not convert one price into the other. Use Save equipment rates to reuse matching equipment and model rates on future sites in this browser.

Saving reusable rates does not rewrite existing quotes. A project backup includes that project’s quoted prices, not your entire saved rate library. Custom items remain part of their package.

Enable Include equipment summary in PDF when the client should see these items. These are prices you assign to equipment in a client package; they are separate from Firmark subscription pricing. No customer payment is collected by the editor.

Import templates or explore the AI importer preview

From the workspace’s Templates area, import prepared layouts and packages into this browser’s library. Review their artwork and automatic fields, then select your defaults. Firmark can help prepare those templates from examples you choose to share.

AI importer is available in Manage templates beside the new-template buttons, even when its dashboard card is hidden. It is currently an interactive preview: you can explore document selection and the review flow, but no AI service is connected and no templates or camera settings are generated. Preview selections clear when you close it.

Your artwork stays yours

Logos, business cards, stamps, and other images can come from a template you import. They are not a public library supplied by Firmark. Only use artwork you have permission to include.

You can import prepared plan and package templates from the dashboard. The files bring their included artwork into that browser’s local library. Export templates to move them to a different device or browser profile.

Choose an export for the next person

Presentation tools can render fonts and layout differently. Review the exported file in the software your recipient will use. Mixed page sizes fit the presentation’s first slide proportions.

A PDF or slideshow is a handoff, not a replacement for a .camlayout backup of the editable Firmark project.
